Dental, chemo/cancer, dialysis, pregnancy, emergency medicine, psychiatric issues, substance abuse, etc.
We are able to make referrals in some cases.
We do not charge a fee for the service you receive, so making a donation at every appointment is critical for us to continue to operate!
Two “No Shows” within one year results in a six-month suspension of appointments and medication refills. Patients are considered a “No Show” if an appointment is missed without a 24-hour notice. To avoid no shows, we even have a text line available (682) 279-4540.
Missed appointments result in us not being able to see someone in need.
Reach out to your pharmacy as soon as you run low on medications for a refill. Our doctors are volunteers and not here daily.
We ask that you bring your medication or a list of all your medication and dosages to all your appointments.

HOW IT WORKS
Patient Assistance Program
Sometimes a patient has needs that we cannot meet within our clinic walls. To ensure that we are part of the solution and not just sending our patients out the door without resources, we have allocated part of the grant from the Kenneth Hill Foundation to help assist patients who need a specialist, medical equipment, further testing, etc. Our criteria:
-
Patient must be a current Ken Hill Health Center patient
-
Patient must be referred to the Patient assistance Program by their KHHC provider
-
Patient must attend an interview with the Director of Patient Services
When all required documents are collected and the interview is complete, the Director of Patient Services will submit the application to our physician board, which will make the final decision on whether patient assistance is warranted or not. Ther are limited funds available for this program; not all patients will be nominated, and not all needs will be granted. It is our goal to help as many patients as we can with every donation received!
All of the services you receive are paid for by the Ken Hill Health Center through the generosity of others, we do not receive funding from the state or federal government. In fact, the majority of our funding comes from individuals, groups, and foundations in Hood County!
HOW IT WORKS
Patient Assistance Program
-
Patient completes an application to become a KHHC patient. - All patients must provide proof that they are a Hood County resident and they must not have health insurance.
-
Patient meets with our Director of Patient Services to establish need and identify non-medical determinants of health.
-
Appointments are scheduled either in our clinic or at yours. - Providers supply us with their availability or number of patients they are willing to see and we do the rest!
- We schedule the appointments and send reminders.
- No Shows result in the patient’s privilege to see specialists being revoked.
